In 2024, we’re commemorating significant milestones: the 100th anniversary of Historic Buildings & Places and the 80th anniversary of the Council for British Archaeology. To celebrate, the directors of the seven National Amenity Societies cordially invite you to join them for an engaging panel session, styled after Question Time. Together, we’ll delve into our origins, roles, and the contemporary definition of ‘National Amenity’ in the twenty-first century.
This event offers you the unique opportunity to pose questions and contribute to shaping the dialogue on amenity and heritage. Have you ever pondered the meaning of ‘national amenity’? Are you curious about the relevance of National Amenity Societies today—what we do and how we collaborate? How are we tackling the pressing issues confronting society?
Join us for this online event, hosted on Zoom. You’ll have the chance to submit your questions to the panel in advance when you register. Additionally, as the discussion unfolds, there will be opportunities to pose further questions throughout the evening.
This event is free to all.
Bookings are available on the Council for British Archaeology website.
