100th Annual General Meeting of Historic Buildings & Places

  • 01 June 2024
  • Hallé St Peter's, 40 Blossom St, Manchester, M4 6BF
  • 13:30 - 16:45

We invite members of Historic Buildings & Places to celebrate our centenary AGM in the city of our founding on Saturday 1st June 2024.

Registration for the 100th AGM of Historic Buildings & Places is now open! Please book your place through the link below.

The AGM will be held on Saturday 1st June 2024 at Hallé St Peter’s, Ancoats, Manchester.

Hallé St Peter’s is a Grade II listed former church at the heart of Ancoats, an area rich in important industrial heritage, which is currently the focus for regeneration and development.

Originally built in 1859, St. Peter’s was the first Anglican church built in the predominantly Roman Catholic community. The church was initially able to seat up to 1,336 people but alterations in the early 1900s reduced this capacity by c.300. A period of post-war decline saw the church finally close in 1960 and the building was turned to mixed use. It was listed in 1989 but subsequently suffered from vandalism. After eventual large scale restoration works, the building was reopened in 2013 and a multi-award-winning three-storey extension was added in 2019.

Please note: bags larger than A4 size are not permitted in the hall. There will be a rail available for coats.

Cancellation policy: Refunds can be provided for cancellations 7 or more business days prior to the event.

Registration for the AGM will close at 2pm on 29th May 2024.

Full details on the AGM are provided in the AGM Notice which can be downloaded below.

You can also download our Annual Accounts, Abbreviated Accounts, and HB&P Nominations for Officers and Board Members.
