Our membership fees have remained frozen for the past few years, despite the financial pressures of Covid-19 and the struggles of the UK economy.
However, the current rates are barely covering the costs of the publications our members receive and enjoy, and so, reluctantly, we have made the decision to increase the fee for 2024. The new fees are laid out below.
We appreciate that times are tough for all and hope that you will stick with us and continue to support our important work. In addition to the member-exclusive publications, our members also benefit from significantly reduced ticket prices for our online and in-person events, compared to non-members. As 2024 is our Centenary year, you can expect a bumper year of fun and educational outings and talks! See the full programme of events here. We hope you can join us in our celebrations!

Renewals for 2024 are now open and you can renew easily by credit / debit card or PayPal through our new online form here, which accepts both single payments and annually auto-renewing payments. If you don’t know your membership ID for your renewal, please e-mail us as we can provide that for you. For alternative ways to pay your membership fee please contact us.
If you prefer to set up a Direct Debit for your annual payment, please complete it online through our website here.
If you already have a Direct Debit or auto-renewing card payment set up, we will update this for you so no further action is needed on your part. However, if you have a Standing Order, we cannot adjust this for you, so please update it directly with your bank.
If you are able to Gift Aid your membership payment, we would be incredibly grateful – Gift Aid costs you nothing but enables us to claim an extra 25% of your membership total from the government and is an important source of revenue for us. If you renew via the form on our website, you can easily add Gift Aid to your payment on the form, otherwise please contact us and we are more than happy to send you a Gift Aid Declaration form.
