Students from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute are undertaking research on the impact of HB&P’s casework

Posted: 22 May 2024

Historic Buildings & Places are delighted to be joined by four students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts, for the summer.

Mona Blake, Sarah Fenton, Parker Langa, and Mike Nixdorf will be undertaking research for HB&P looking at data collected on Listed Building Consent applications and consultations, and measuring HB&P’s casework impact on these decisions, identifying trends within the data about site diversity, and providing recommendations for future data collection based on identified gaps.

The students have compiled a survey to help better understand how members define casework impact, and we are encouraging all members, supporters, and anyone else who may be interested in participating to respond to further their research.

Please click the link below to take part in the survey, and share among your heritage network with anyone who might also be interested. The survey will close at 11:55pm on 2nd June 2024.

Take the survey.
