House Mill, located on the man-made Three Mill Island in the River Lea, east London, is the world’s largest surviving tidal mill. Built in 1776 on the site of an earlier mill, the Grade I listed building was used in the production of gin as part of the Three Mills Distillery, until its closure in 1941.
A tour of House Mill for HB&P members will take place on Tuesday 27th September at 2pm. Tickets are £13 and include refreshments after the tour. Please contact membership@hbap.org.uk if you would like to attend or if you have any further questions.
