Come along for a private tour of Nunhead Cemetery, one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries of London!
We’ll hear all about the fascinating design, symbolism and architecture of the cemetery, as well as some of the ‘Nunhead Notables’, the cemetery ecology and its future plans. We’ll also take a look inside the ruined chapel and the crypt below, which are not normally open to the public.
Accessibility: Please note visitors should wear suitable stout footwear, especially if it has been wet beforehand, as some paths are a little uneven or can be muddy. There is a fairly easy climb up to the West Hill. This can be challenging for wheelchairs/scooters when descending. Unfortunately, the chapel and crypt are not wheelchair accessible. There are four steps up to the chapel and one large step down to the crypt entrance. Once inside, the floors are flat.
Tickets cost £8 members / £16 non-members.
Cancellation policy: Refunds can be provided for cancellations 7 or more business days prior to the event.
