Lord Inglewood MA, MRICS, Barrister, FSA is President of Historic Buildings & Places. He has previously served as a Member of the European Parliament and the House of Lords, and as Chairman of the Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art.

His family home, Hutton-in-the-Forest in Cumbria, has been in his family since 1606. Over the past 40 years, he and his wife have worked to care for and enhance this Grade I listed historic house, its collections and gardens. Their work continues, helping to preserve the house and its history.
