This exclusive guided tour begins with private access to the Grade II* listed Thames Tunnel Shaft and Engine House at the Brunel Museum, a remarkable feat of Victorian engineering.
Enjoy a guided museum visit lasting 1 to 1.5 hours, where you’ll learn about the Brunel Museum Reinvented Project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which is conserving this important historic site and creating new visitor facilities. The project also showcases newly acquired watercolour designs by Marc Brunel for the Thames Tunnel—an extraordinary piece of engineering history.
Following a short break, we will continue with a 45–60 minute walking tour of Rotherhithe, exploring key historic buildings and hidden architectural gems that reveal the area’s rich maritime and industrial past.
