Following on from last year’s lecture by renowned architectural historian Nicholas Cooper on Holland House, we are offering a tour of the site led by Anna Joynt from Allies and Morrison Architects, who are working on the major repair project of the site.
Anna Joynt is an Associate Director at Allies and Morrison and leads the practice’s in-house conservation team. She was the project architect for the recent repair and conservation work at Holland House commissioned by Kensington & Chelsea Council.
Anna’s other recent conservation projects range from the repair and conversion of listed buildings for university clients, to a masterplan for the 500-acre Victorian cemetery at Brookwood. She is currently working on repair proposals for the burnt-out Georgian ruin at Clandon Park in Surrey for the National Trust. Anna trained at Cambridge University and at the Architectural Association. She is listed on the register of Architects Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC), lectures on the RIBA Advanced Conservation Course, and is Past-President (2021) of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association (EASA).
Tickets for the event are £8. For further details and information on how to book a place please e-mail membership@hbap.org.uk.
