On Saturday 4th May 2024 we welcome you to come along to Cornwall to tour the Kresen Kernow archive centre, followed by a visit to the centre of Redruth and the High Street Heritage Action Zone, led by Cornwall Council’s strategic historic environment team.

Come along this Bank Holiday Saturday for a fascinating day out in Redruth, Cornwall!

We’ll start with a special tour of the Kresen Kernow archive centre, which opened in 2019 to breathe new life and purpose into the formerly derelict and now renovated Redruth Brewery.

After this, we’ll take a tour of the centre of Redruth and the High Street Heritage Action Zone, led by Cornwall Council’s strategic historic environment team and taking in sites such as the Buttermarket, The Ladder and Murdoch House, some of which are currently in the process of restoration and redevelopment.

Accessibility: Please note that this visit will involve a lot of walking and we will also be visiting some building sites. Not all of the tour may be accessible.

Tickets cost £20 members / £28 non-members.

Cancellation policy: Refunds can be provided for cancellations 7 or more business days prior to the event.
