Join us for a guided tour of Bentley Priory Museum, a Grade II* listed Georgian mansion house in Stanmore, north London.
This stunning building has fulfilled many roles since it was built in 1766, including as a stately home, a royal residence, a hotel, girls’ school and, finally, the home of RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain during the second world war. During its long history the building has undergone many architectural alterations, including additions by renowned architect Sir John Soane.
Tickets for the tour cost £12 for members/£15 for non-members and include refreshments.
