We are delighted to offer our members an opportunity to take a look around Knedlington Old Hall, near Howden in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

This 17th century Grade II* listed home has recently undergone extensive conservation and repair and is usually only open for small private tours, but we are delighted to be working with the owners to arrange a visit for Historic Buildings & Places members. Refreshments will be served!

The tour will take place on the 8th June 2022, starting at 2:30pm. Tickets are £12 and spots are limited.

Parking is available on site for 8 vehicles. The nearest railway station is three miles away in Goole. Please note that taxis can be difficult to find from this station. There is a bus from Goole that goes to Knedlington, but it works on a time table and is infrequent. From the bus stop in Knedlington to the Old Hall is about a 10 minute walk.

Please contact us via e-mail at membership@hbap.org.uk if you would like to to attend. Please also let us know if you will require a parking spot or if you plan to arrive by train to Goole station.
